Dionne earned an Associate’s Degree from Valencia Community College , a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, and Master of Arts in Teaching from Belhaven University.
She has been an early childhood educator at Hungerford Elementary School in the Historic Town of Eatonville, FL for over a decade. Mrs. Joseph is the author of Lola Pitts’ Green Eggs and Grits, her debut book which displays her passion for early childhood education and storytelling. She enjoys storytelling, mentoring, serving in her church and community, travelling, and spending time with her family.
Historic Welbourne Nursery & Preschool, Winter Park’s 93-year old not-for-profit community-owned, early childhood educational center, serves 60+ preschool children each day (providing 750 nutritional meals per week, free dental care, free optometric care, free family counseling, and free Nemours Telemedicine).
